hi,

Recently i'm using a XORP+CLICK testbed called vini to deploy a Overlay Routing Experiment, I wonder how i can modify the routing table through telnet ?
Click::ControlSocket/1.1
read _xorp_rt4.table
200 Read handler '_xorp_rt4.table' OK
DATA
45010.0.49.2/32 - 6
10.0.49.1/32 - 7
192.168.107.99/32 - 8
192.168.100.3/32 - 9
192.168.105.3/32 - 12
192.168.104.3/32 - 10
10.0.49.0/24 - 0
192.168.107.0/24 - 1
192.168.100.0/24 - 2
192.168.102.0/24 - 3
192.168.104.0/24 - 4
192.168.105.0/24 - 5
128.31.1.0/24 192.168.107.1 1
10.0.156.0/24 192.168.100.2 2
128.151.65.0/24 192.168.100.2 2
192.168.101.0/24 192.168.100.2 2
10.41.26.0/24 192.168.104.2 4
192.168.103.0/24 192.168.104.2 4
but the problem is how i can change the _xorp_rt4.table dynamically through the control port because this table seems to be read-only
530 Handler '_xorp_rt4.table' read-only
i've not found any documentations about it. can you tell me how to do it or any specifications can be found somewhere?
Thanks in advance

Swati,

Which routing table were you relying on? I think none of our routing table
elements support hotswapping (they drop all routes on swap), but they probably
should.
