[Click] skb alloc problem

I am trying to allocate an skb and pass it to the dev_queue_xmit function.I do it but always the kernel panics,so i have got to reboot.Could somebody give some info regarding allocation of skb buffs.Basically trying to allocate skb for my own ip packet with llp as ethernet.
