Can you use netfilter with Click?

Can one use netfilter with Click?  If so, what are the
steps required to use it?

I haven't seen mention of it, and I'm aware that Click
as firewalling functionality.

We enjoy the stateful nature, chains mgmt, and
redirection capability of netfilter -- just looking
for a performance boost.

Any ideas?
