[chord] problem when running MIT chord

Thanks for your reply about the use of vnode.Now I have downloaded the chord source from MIT and compiled successfully,but when Iran chord I confronted a problem .My operation is as following:

My chord code version is chord-0.1-20061206 and sfslite version is sfslite-0.8.16.
 
I have try many times,but every time the log recorded the same problem:
"  lsd: fatal: get_maint_aclnt: Error connecting to /tmp/maint-sock: No such file or directory   ".
 
I don't know why and I have done all operations as the description of MIT Chord.I need your help.Can you tell me how to solve the problem?Thanks  very much.Hope for you reply sincerely!
