Hi,
This might sound like a stupid question related to linux kernel installation.

I have trouble building vanilla linux kernel successfully.
I followed the instruction in the INSTALL, and built the kernel
without any errors, however, after I reboot the box, the new kernel
couldn't be loaded.

I am using Debian etch 4.0 kernel 2.6.18.6 and trying to install 2.6.19.2

Does anyone have any experiences?
