[Click] strange behaviors

Hi all.
        I am designing a traffic scheduler for click which is running
        over a  
        roofnet mesh.
        
        1. If I run it with atheros devices the traffic is correctly  
        prioritized according to some given weights. (weighted round
        robin)
        however, if I run it with non atheros...the traffic classes are
        not  
        differentiated, even if the scheduler does not use any infos
        related  
        specifically to atheros devices.
        
        2. Another strange behavior is that if I schedule among short
        queues  
        (100 pkts) the traffic is not differentiated. If I schedule
        from  
        longer (500pkts) queues...the whole thing goes well.
        Again, the scheduler does not want any infos from the queues
        apart  
        from if they are backlogged or not.
        
        I cannot find any reasonable explanation to these issues. Can
        you???
