[Click] Is there a good "dumb-moron" guide to kernel mode?

	Is there a "guide for morons" guide for Kernel mode click.  I
wedged my test machine with a built-for-click kernel.

	More specifically, is there a preferred distribution which
people have had good results with?  

	(the hardware is a Dell Poweredge with Intel PCI-E ethernet
cards).
