If I need to make elements wider I put ~'s in front or at the end of the 
element. Often a few ~ do the job here.
Eg:
velementit.samp(btex \element{~~~~Classif{}ier(12/0806 20/0001, 12/0806 
20/0002, 12/0800, -)~~~~} etex, 1, 4, push);

They can be found in the folder etc/diagrams in the Click distributions.
