[Click] could anyone provide a simple example?

   In our lab, we need to simulate a simple WAN environment, that is, we have three machines, A->B(click router is installed in this machine)->C. 
   We find it difficult because we feel confused about how to arrange the connection sequence and which elements we can not omit. We have learned it for a month but can not see any progress. Could anyone provide us such examples, please? Thank you very much.
