[Click] Monitoring click with ethereal

Hi all,

Is it correct to say that you cannot monitor the traffic generated by a
click router on the same machine using ethereal?

I suppose Click bypasses the hooks ethereal uses to monitor the
networktraffic.

Is there a way to bypass this ( e.g. by copying packets to ToLinux and
dropping them using iptables ? )
