Hi Koen,

That is a very weird error. Can you tell us what kind of machine you are
running this on? Some version of Linux, but what? What does 'autoconf
--version' say?

The config.sub file must be run with an argument describing the system
type. That's why you can't run it directly. Try supplying the 'sun4'
argument: '/bin/sh ./config.sub sun4'. Does it still fail?

Perhaps there is an autoconf version error. I've enclosed a 'configure'
script generated by autoconf 2.13. Does it work?

> PS: My first name is Koen

Oops!!!! Sorry!

address. (There have been systems where private was not correctly
implemented like the infamous i386 svr4.0, and systems where the
VM page cache was not coherent with the filesystem buffer cache
like early versions of FreeBSD and possibly contemporary NetBSD.)
For shared mappings, we should conversely verify that changes get
propogated back to all the places they're supposed to be.

Grep wants private fixed already mapped.
