[click] ether address annotations...

would it be a good idea to add support for an ethernet address
annotation, ala IP?

e.g. in the grid code, several elements are managing ethernet addresses,
mostly just to fill in the ether source (a forwarding el fills in the
ether dest, or it is broadcast). but this fill in could be done by e.g.
StoreEtherAddress or something...

similarly, the forwarding code could set an ether annotation and then
some later element could encapsulate the grid packet using the
annotations...

i don't know if i am being totally clear here, but the basic gist is
that the grid code is always handing around full wire format packets
(ether + generic grid hdr + specialized grid hdr + data), and reading
and writing the bytes in those packets, when maybe it should be doing
more with annotations...

the ether stuffwould be more generall useful that, say, a set of grid
annotations (which could be user annotations).
