/proc : file too large

Hi,

A strange problem, but I'm sure you know the solution :-) :

we have written our own element and want to configure it via the
/proc/.../config interface. This looks all good, except when trying to
write a (live-) config to that element of > 16384 bytes : cat gives an
error : File too large, 
or when using a script and piping the info to the config only the first
16384 bytes are accepted (without error).

However, it is possible to write a config to /proc/click/config of more
than 16384 (with a higher limit > 76000 bytes) and configuring the
element in that way.

I haven't seen a solution in the click source code or kernel code on a
quick glance.
