[chord] Help

Hi,I'm undergraduate student & I doing my thesis with the title of Chord lookup service. I would like to ask few question regarding the Chord. Here it's:
 
1. Here was the software I using  ->snapshot of chord(chord-20070418)  ->gcc-2.95.3 ->gmp-4.1.2 ->libtool-1.5.10 ->automake-1.9 ->p2psim-0.3 ->make-3.81 ->ocaml-3.06 ->m4-1.4.1 ->pth-2.0.7 ->autoconf-2.54 ->sfslite-0.8.17 ->redhat 4.0 Enterprise Are this software suitable if i using sfslite-0.8.17?  2.I'm installing the sfslite according to this website http://www.scs.stanford.edu/06wi-cs240d/lab/sfs.html. Was it neccesarry to install all of it  or just part of it ?  3.Inside the sfslite website, it's mention about "Fire up thhe client daemon by running sfscd" what is mean by that ?
