Unfortunately, at this time, the HOWTO on the website is out
of date with respect to the latest source code. However, you should be
able to use the start-dhash script located in the lsd sub-directory to
start all the necessary processes in the right order. start-dhash takes
the same arguments as lsd.
For example,
$ lsd/start-dhash -v 3 -l 127.0.0.1 -j 127.0.0.1:12345 -p 12345
This runs a 3 virtual node lsd system (with all files hosted in
a sub-directory called dhash-$USER), listening on the localhost
interface and port 12345.
There is some rudimentary help if you run 'lsd/start-dhash --help'
and you can see a list of useful lsd options if you run 'lsd/lsd -h'.
