[chord] error: `template' (as a disambiguator) is only allowed within templates

Hi,

With gcc (version >= 3.4), I got the following error in compilation. No 
problem with gcc 3.3.

In file included from ../../sfsnet/utils/misc_utils.C:3:
../../sfsnet/chord/chord.h: In member function `dorpc_arg* 
user_args::transport_header()':
../../sfsnet/chord/chord.h:101: error: `template' (as a disambiguator) 
is only allowed within templates

Someone asked this question long time ago in this mailing list, but I 
could not find an answer.
How should I fix the problem?
