-S should be a file.
-d should also be a file; the filename for the socket that
adbd's -S flag specifies.  -d for adbd should be a directory.

You may find the start-dhash script in the lsd directory
helpful for starting up an instance of DHash.  I haven't
had a chance to update the web docs yet and the system
has changed a lot since last year...
