[chord] error in compiling chord

I just compiled  2003-05-06-chord-0.1 and I got the
following errors:

syncd.C: In function `int main(int, char**)':

`rpc_vec<int32_t, 2147483647>::
   push_back(int)'

I uesing gcc compiler gcc-3.2.2-5 
redhat linux 9.0 2.4.20-31.9
sfs-0.7.2


Why did this happend, and help whould be great!
