Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard on public transportation
Getting there from Boston
There is a cruise/ferry from BOston to Provincetown!
Supposedly, it only takes 90 minutes to get to provincetown. ;-)
Take a bus with either P-B company or Bonanza Bus.
P-B stops at Provincetown at upper cape cod and hyannis if u want to take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard.
Bonanza stops at Woods Hole where you could also take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard.
Note the ferry ride from woods hole to Martha's Vineyard is much shorter (45 minutes) in comparison with
the one from Hyannis (more than 1.5 hours).
More info is here.
Getting around on Martha's Vineyard
There is an information booth at Oaks Bluff town in Martha's Vineyard with lots of information. The public bus on
martha's vineyard is well documented. Get a detailed map and follow the "shortest route" instead of bike route
if you are going to bike around in Martha's Vineyard. There are a lot of hill roads there and it could get very
tiring very quickly when u ride a bike so it actually takes much longer than u expect going from town to town on a bike.

What to do on Martha's Vineyard
We had a lot of fun visiting the lighthouses. The beaches at Gayhead cliff is gorgeous. You can pick up mussels along
and see some horseshoes crabs or crabs if you get lucky. The icecreams all around Cape and Martha's are delicious.
We have not tried deepsea fishing. Apparently you could join many of the deep sea fishing tours at Martha's.
We kayaked and it was very hard controlling the kayak direction in a strong wind. ;-)
