[Click] Compiling 2.6.24.7 on Ubuntu 10.10

Hi,

I am facing a problem booting into 2.6.24.7 kernel from a Ubuntu 10.10
machine. Booting stops at busybox shell<%20http://i53.tinypic.com/2cht5ba.jpg>
.
The reason for this issue is the initrd image generated using mkinitramfs
tool supposedly works with kernels > 2.6.32.
If any of you have come across a similar problem or have some suggestions
please let me know.

Another curious question. Any estimates on how much effort is required to
make click kernel module work with the latest kernel?
