[Click] help with LLRPCs?

Hello,

I am working on a routing project that needs to communicate with some Click elements beyond the capacity of read/write handlers. I've got the notion that LLRPCs are the way to go, but I'm struggling to understand their implementation from reading the documentation and source code alone. Would someone mind giving me an example of how LLRPCs are written and used?
