[Click] problem

Hi,

I want wright an element that does the following:

it should put the signal strength from the packet annotation (can i do 
that with prismencap???) in a variable
if the variable is below a theshhold then i should call te switch 
handler from the switch element that is in the same click file as my own 
element.

can someone point me in the wright direction? or write the lines of code?
