Giorgio,

Yes this is trivial.  Just "click-install" the new configuration.  If you have 
not changed any element code, then there is no need to uninstall and reinstall 
the kernel module or to reboot the machine.  If you want to preserve packets 
from the old configuration, look into "click-install -h".
