Hi David,

The config.log is not as helpful as I had hoped; it just says "makeinfo 
missing".  Perhaps makeinfo is not on your PATH.  Here's what configure 
reports as your PATH

PATH: /usr/local/sbin
PATH: /usr/local/bin
PATH: /usr/sbin
PATH: /usr/bin
PATH: /sbin
PATH: /bin
PATH: /usr/bin/X11
PATH: /usr/games

Is makeinfo in there?
