[Click] Adding data to UDP load

Hi!
I'm adding data to the UDP load but I have not been able to update the "Total length" field in the IP-header.
I have been able to update the UDP header field "Length" but the packet turn out to be ambigiuous and some of the data is lost before it arrives at the destination. Where can I find methods to add data to the UDP load and update all the necessary fields?
