[Click] click across multiple machines ?

Hi,

Has anyone given any thought to how you could have click acting as a
forwarding engine across multiple machines, where you might have the
links between elements being composed of links elements that marshal
and unmarshal packets over an intermediate connection ? One possible
solution might be to have a master and slave(s) clicks running on many
machines and have them communicate ?

Thoughts ?
