Hi… I did test overnight for all click version for polling mode. -_-

Now I have to apply two patches for linux kernel and only patches for
kernel 2.4.32 do not conflict.

So, I should test on linux kernel 2.4.32. also, I’m using e100 and e1000
NIC supporting polling mode.

But, there’s no one for my working.

Last night, I updated “CLICK” through cvs and compile e1000 drivers(both
e1000-4.x and e1000-5.x).

Both of them occur following message.

When I did command “modprobe e1000”,

/lib/modules/2.4.32/kernel/drivers/net/e1000.o:
/lib/modules/2.4.32/kernel/drivers/net/e1000.o: unresolved symbol
gr_task_is_capable

/lib/modules/2.4.32/kernel/drivers/net/e1000.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.32/kernel/drivers/net/e1000.o failed

/lib/modules/2.4.32/kernel/drivers/net/e1000.o: insmod e1000 failed

In my case, I’m very serious because I have to apply click modular router
in the machine for my network appliance research.

If someone know a solution about this problem, let me know.

Thank you, friends……

P.S. any NIC for polling mode in linux kernel 2.4.32? please help me~~ T_T
