Please update to the latest version of Click from CVS, rather than the stable
1.4.3 release:

The FromSocket and ToSocket elements used to insert framing marks to delineate
packets. I removed this feature sometime last year because it was confusing and
unexpected, caused problems like this, and wasn't necessary for UDP. If you
can't upgrade, just set the FRAME keyword to false.
