Ian,

Can you be more specific?  If you're looking for an explanation of the 
stride/deficit-round-robin algorithms in general, there are places we can 
point you, such as the paper mentioned in DRRSched's man page.  The 
Click-specific stuff is not too different from that in RoundRobinSched.
