[Click] routing cache on Click modular router

Good morning,
I'm Davide Bolognesi, I'm a student at the "Politecnico di Torino"
(Italy), I'm working on degree thesis studing comparisons between Linux
and Click.
I've downloaded Click-1.4.1 and I would like to know if click uses a
routing cache as Linux; if it does, is it possible to work with Click
without?
