[Click] About bytes order ?

Hi all,
When modifying an ip field, i have remarked that the value is inserted in reverse order (High byte located at the low position), i have checked click documentation but i haven't found any explanation. Is it necessary to reverse bit orders before assigning them to ip packet fields or does click provides a method to resolve this problem.
