Hi John--

Sorry!! john  that was my typo. Well i tried it again with all instructions. 
I will provide complete summary of the errors that are coming to get a 
better hint from your side.

Again i am testing it with two nodes. I CAN PING BACK AND FORTH WITH "JUST" 
CLICK CONFIGURATION THRU THE WIRELESS INTERFACE(Wlan0)

Now i am trying to ping the eth0 interface on the GATEWAY NODE:

GATEWAY NODE:
Followed instructions on ur madwifi.stripped page and enabled it with:
1)  ./conf/gen_config_roofnet.pl --dev "wlan0" --gateway 1 > /click/config
2)  /sbin/iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE
3)  echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward ( IP FORWARDING ENABLED)

All Looks fine!! expect default gateway is missing( is this is the problem?)

Now i try to ping from OTHER NODE to eth0 interface of GATEWAY NODE.

ping 153.90.196.95( Ip ADDRESS OF eth0 of GATEWAY NODE)--- nothing!!

Do this "tcpdump -i srcr": To see if the packets are going out -- i See 
packets going to OUR SERVERS, like 5.8.11.168 (IP address of srcr on OTHER 
NODE) sends requests to 153.90.192.10, 153.90.2.15(which are our DNS 
servers).

I do "tcpdump -i srcr" on the GATEWAY node: Wait for a long time!! NOTHING 
IS COMING!!, it should i think if it is sending packets thru this interface 
of GATEWAY NODE.

Now i do "dmesg" on OTHER NODE to see if kernel giving some messages:

This is what i see:

chatter: SRCR srcr : got invalid dst 0.0.0.0

ON THE WHOLE SCREEN

I Do : more /click/srcr_gw/gateway_stats --NOTHING!!
--------------------------------------------------------------

I also set the IP address of "srcr" of the GATEWAY node as the "default 
gateway" on the OTHER NODE(JUST TRYING!!)--Nothing again

command: route add default gw 5.35.253.45 srcr ( THIS COMMAND WAS EXECUTED 
AT OTHER NODE)

command:"route -n" after this:ON OTHER NODE

5.8.11.168 (Ip address of srcr on OTHER NODE)

#arp reply 5.35.253.45 is-at 1:1:1:1:1:1 ( it seems like some kind of bogus 
hw address is assigned)

I am not sure what to do now!! Do i need to set "default gateway" on the 
default route of other node. If yes !! shall i set it as : 5.35.253.254.
