Click is a software router forwarding path.  Suggest you check out the 
documents available at http://www.pdos.lcs.mit.edu/click

1. Linux stack;
2. No, no;
3. Click runs in the Linux or FreeBSD kernel, or at user level on any 
Unixlike OS.
