i've compiled click as a kernel module. the m/c on which i'm running it has
just 1 ethernet card. i gave the foll simple config

FromHost(fake0,192.169.0.150/8) -> Counter -> Print -> Discard

i tried getting packets from simple applications like mozilla, yahoo
messenger, but could not. the count handler of the counter module remains at
zero. if i try the same config at my home, which has an externel modem, with
a dial-up line, i get packets from applications, even if i'm not connected to
the Internet.
if i try giving the DEVNAME as eth0 instead of fake0, i get the foll error:
	interface already exists.
even "ifconfig eth0 down", before giving eth0, doesn't help.

it would be very helpful, if anyone could tell me how to get packets from
applications.

thanks for all the help!
