confparse.o error

Do I need patch in click userlever, for linux 2.4, if i have kernel 2.4.18 and
RedHat 8.0

I have problems at: make install

../lib/confparse.cc:1657: argumento por omisión dado para el parámetro 3 de `
   bool cp_ethernet_address(const String&, EtherAddress*, Element* = 0)'
../include/click/confparse.hh:114: después de la especificación previa en `
   bool cp_ethernet_address(const String&, EtherAddress*, Element* = 0)'
   *** [confparse.o] Error 1
