click domains

Hi, I am currently preparing a CRC for the IWAN workshop in Zuerich which
references the Click project extensively (in a positive way) and I want to
make sure I get the details right. Am I right to understand that click
components in some configuration are assumed to reside either in the
kernel or in user space (but not both - e.g. with pushes/pulls across the
kernel boundary)?

All help greatly appreciated!
