GCC 3.0 considered harmful (kernel Click)

Has anyone tried out the intel compiler v6.0 to build click ?  It still has 
some limitations and cannot quite build the linux kernel without patches 
(due to gcc extensions that kernel uses), but it also has a lot of 
optimization functionality that gcc lacks.  If not I might give it a whirl 
and see it is able to...
