Dear Eddie,
           I am currently looking through the source of the element
IPRewriter and did not understand the use of two aspects of the code.

I just wanted to know what are "jiffies" and why are they used for mapping
timeouts.  Secondly, what are the "delta checksums" used for?

The answers to these Q's would be very much appreciated.
