Hi Click developer,

Currently, I try to get Click installed on my linux environment for a
project
at the Philips Research Labratories and I experience some difficulties.

I downloaded click-1.2.0.tar.gz and try to install it.
Reading the INSTALL note, it tells me to compile the kernel (linux-2.2.17)
together with the `linux-2.2.17 patch provided by Click.
Looking into the CLICKDIR/etc I only found a linux-2.2.18-patch.

This triggers some questions to me:
- Can i use the linux-2.2.18-patch together with the linux-2.2.17 source or
do i have to update my kernel to linux-2.2.18.
- Will this linux-2.2.18 + patch work properly with the rest of the
Click software
- Instead of updating the linux-2.2.17 (to 2.2.18), is there also a
patch available for
the kernel-2.2.17, and how do i get it?
- Related question: Will the Click software updated for linux-2.4.xx in
the near future?

Regards,

Andre Kleibeuker
