linuxmodule for 2.4.4 hangs

Hi Eddie,

I've tried your suggestion to disable smp for the kernel 2.4.4 (by
removing the "#define CONFIG_SMP 1" in linux/include/linux/autoconf.h).
The compiler didn't complain when compiling click without smp. The
userlevel driver works also. But when I run a kernelspace click
configuration the whole system hung.
Any idea what could be the reason?
