I don't really know what's going on here; it looks like maybe g++
is unhappy with some type internal to gtk or pango.  I assume something
odd in our code is triggering it but I don't have any problems building
with gcc 4.1 on BSD (and I don't have a FC7 machine handy to poke around
with).

If you don't need the visualizer tool (which is what is causing this
particular problem), you can try and re-build after make distclean
and running configure --disable-vis.

Sorry that's not particularly helpful.  If you've figured out what
the problem was, I'm happy to take a patch to fix it :-)
