Hmmm.  Okay, can you run:
	
        $ script debug.log
	$ gmake -C tools
	$ sed -n '50,80p' /usr/include/pango-1.0/pango/pango-utils.h
	$ exit

and send us debug.log?

What version of g++ does FC7 come with?
