[chord] Error: Unable to run chord. Plz Help me

hello sir,

i am a student. I am using Chord algorithm to develop an application for
Peer to Peer Networks.I have downloaded the files from
   http://hg.pdos.csail.mit.edu/hg/dht?mf=a72348b622e5;path=/

I have downloaded the files individually.Then i installed the sfslite  also.
I am using Linux.After the installation of sfslite, i tried to BUILD the
chord,following the steps from  http://pdos.csail.mit.edu/chord/howto.html

When I try to build chord by  ./setup , I am encountering an error ie.,
syntax error near unexpected token `;
`for file in Makefile.am.m4 */Makefile.am.m4;

Sir I request you to suggest me some solution to rectify this problem.
Also i want the link to download the tar/zip format of the complete CHORD
source chord.

I will be grateful to you.
