[chord] Some questions

Dear Chord's authors,

 

Could you help me to answer these questions?

1. How does 'findroute' work? I run this command in some nodes and get
very similar results. 

2. Do you think I can use these results for calculating the path length,
or even the stretch?

3. Where is the source code of lookup?
