$ cvs -d :pserver:anonymous at cvs.pdos.lcs.mit.edu:/cvs login   
$ cvs -d :pserver:anonymous at cvs.pdos.lcs.mit.edu:/cvs co sfsnet/simulator

(The anonymous user has a blank password; just hit enter after the
login.)
