[chord] load balance problem of DHT

Hi,
  I have read two papers .One named:Chord: A Scalable Peer-to-peer
Lookup Service for Internet Applications.And the other is Routing
Algorithms for DHTs:Some Open Question.
  After I read these papers,I think that DHT has load balance
problem.I am master of computer science.I want to do some evolution
for p2p application,I think load balance is a good palace to do some
work.
  You are giant of p2p field.Can you give me some suggestions of load
balance of p2p,what work you think I can do?
