You are correct that the line of code is wrong, but interestingly
our actual source is correct, and it was the CVS server that had
bad data.  It turns out that somehow the RCS history file for
server.C on the anon cvs server got corrupted, and the way that we
sync from our active repository does not detect this sort of data
corruption.

I manually resync'd with the real server.C,v file.  Hopefully this
will resolve the problem.

Thanks for the heads up.  We would have replied sooner but the
mailman server that handled this mailing list died and we didn't
notice until yesterday.
