Quiz 1 is during class hours. It is open book, open notes, etc., but no laptops, wireless networks, cellphones, etc. You shouldn't be in need of a calculator.
Quiz 1 will cover all material through lecture 10 (Process abstraction and management). (Lecture 10 lists Interprocess Communication as topic, but we didn't get further than completing processing management, and thus IPC is not on the quiz.) This material includes all v6 source code covered through lecture 10 (and corresponding chapters of Lions's), x86 architecture as covered in the x86 lectures, and the material covered in labs 0, 1, and 2.
