*** New for 2006: Analysis of Breadth First Search on Random Graphs
For the April 20 class we will continue with 10.4,5,6 and, if time permits, discuss the Zero-One Laws of 10.7. For the April 13 class I suggest reading (or at least skimming) Sections 10.4, 10.5, 10.6. The main topic will be Percolation, the rapid macroscopic change in $G(n,p)$ in the region around p = 1/n. FINAL ORAL EXAM: For those taking the course for credit there will be individual final oral exams. These will probably be 30-45 minutes in length and deal with questions very similar to the assignments. We will be setting up times, aiming for Wednesday, April 28 - the day after the last class.
